The Document Index Generator is the fastest and easiest way to generate an index for your Word Documents.


Select your Word Document (.docx format only, maximum 120000 Bytes). If you have larger documents to index, you need the The Document Index Generator Application.  Click here to download the install ... IMPORTANT NOTE: The Document Index Generator Application requires a minimum of Microsoft Word version 10 to run.
 

 

Upload your document.    Upload status:

 

Start The Document Index Generator.  

   

Download the Concordance File ...

  

To index your document from the concordance file

  • Open the document you have uploaded to index.
  • From the Reference tab, click on the Insert Index command in the Index group of commands.
  • Click AutoMark.
  • Locate and select the above downloaded concordance file.
  • Click Open.
  • When the marking has finished, scroll to the end of the document.
  • Add a new page.
  • From the Reference tab, click on the Insert Index command in the Index group of commands and select OK.
